Biography

Roy Winter was born December 28, 1883 in Texas. He was the son of David Leroy Winter and Rose Ella Howard.^[1]

He was enumerated in the household of his parents on the 1900 Justice Precinct 4, Stonewall, Texas census. He is 17 years of age listed as being born December 1883. ^[2]

On April 24, 1904 he married Myrtle Hale in Stonewall County, Texas. ^[3]

Roy passed away September 1, 1918 in Jayton, Kent, Texas, United States. ^[1] He was laid to rest in Jayton Cemetery, Jayton, Kent County, Texas, United States. ^[4]
