Biography

John Wiseman was born about 1773, son of Thomas Wiseman and Christina Wisman (different family). He married Elizabeth Seibert, daughter of Moses Seibert in 1795. Birth date estimated from daughter Elizabeth's birthdate.

John Wiseman was the father of Elizabeth Wiseman[1]. He was born in Shenandoah, Virginia[2]. He passed away after 1830.

Notes

He may have been living with his two daughters, Rebecca Wiseman Longbottom and Mary Wiseman Pendroy in 1830. The 1830 Census for Heth, Indiana shows a 60 to 69 year old male in both households. Since the two daughters lived relatively close together, they may have taken turns caring for their father.
