Stephen was baptised on 7 December 1716 in St Mary's Church, Breamore, Hampshire, England, 50.96930, -1.78297. He was the son of Stephen Witt.[1]
When his son John Witt was baptised at Breamore, Hampshire, in 1748, it was noted that the family were from Woodgreen.[2]
