Hi,

I’m Matty. How are you? Need any help?

Our primary vision is to build a collaborative tree with just one profile per person, so please make sure to look for duplicates on WikiTree before adding a profile. Please look at how to write a biography and how to put sources in.

Having dates and locations attached to every person assists in our mission as well - if you have pre-1700’s ancestors to add please read our Pre-1700 profiles info.

Check out How To Use WikiTree. It’s a great step-by-step guide.

And I’m here to help too, just ask!

Welcome to the Mayflower Project. Please add MAYFLOWER to your list of tags. All changes to Mayflower people should be coordinated in g2g using this tag. Use g2g for your questions. You are in the right place if you want genealogy help.
Hello again,

Thank you for volunteering to help grow our World Wide Family Tree! You are now a member of the WikiTree Community. Please note we are trying to build one Collaborative Tree with one profile per person, so it is important to ensure no duplicates are entered as you add any Profiles to WikiTree. Everything on the site is a collaborative work in progress so don’t forget to read and sign our Honor Code. (http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Special:Honor_Code) This is what keeps WikiTree a polite, friendly and helpful community. We have many hospitable, enthusiastic members from all over the world, so always feel free to ask if you have any questions. I hope you have a wonderful experience on our site, Don

Hello fellow hunters! I began my genealogy journey about 35 years ago when my grandmother showed me a handwritten genealogy of her family going back to the year 1500. I have been hooked ever since! As life has happened there have been gaps of a few years in my research but now with the kids grown and out of the house I have time again to devote to finding out who contributed to my kids DNA. I need to do a DNA test one day but funds prohibit that now. I look forward to seeing what I can learn here!
