Biography
In 1784 George Baker son of George Baker marries Magdalena Wolf, daughter of Peter.[1] It is possible this is the son of George "Beckner" who came over in the same migration of people and may have had his name anglicized to Baker as well, but I am lumping this branch of Bakers in with the Heinrich Beeker (Baker) family for now.
George Baker and Magdalena Wolf had the following children in the parish registers;
- Andrew - 1785-06-20
- Mary Eliz - 1786-06-30
- Ann Margaret - 1787-09-10
- George - 1793-06-09
- Mary Gertrude - 1794-09-05
According to the parish registers transcription Magdalena Baker, wife of George, died at age 73 on Nov 7 1826.
