Peter Wolfe migrated to New England during the Puritan Great Migration (1621-1640). (See Great Migration Begins, by R. C. Anderson, Vol. 3, p. 2067) Join: Puritan Great Migration Project Discuss: pgm
Based on the estimated birth year of his presumed first child, Freeborn, Peter was probably born by 1610 and most likely in England.
Death
6 Dec 1675, at Beverly, Essex, Massachusetts (date found on the inventory document[1]
Will and Probate Records
Peter's will, inventory of his estate, and other probate records indicate he wrote his will 20 Nov 1675, died 6 Dec 1675, inventory taken 13 Dec 1675, attestation of will and inventory 21 Dec 1675.[2] Transcriptions of the documents can be found in The Probate Records of Essex County, Massachusetts, Volume III, 1675-1681.[3].
Based in the calculated age their presumed first child, Hannah (b. ~1633) it is believed that Peter married Martha (Unknown) about 1633, either before they left England, or shortly after arrival. Together they had two daughters:[5]
Peter Wolfe (and John Blacke) on a list of persons making a covenant with God and the “Church of X” at Salem in 1637.[6])

I believe both Peter Woolfe, and his wife Martha ____, should be PGM.

In 1995, Anderson reported Peter's origin is not known; has migration as 1633, first to Salem; removes to Beverly.
About his wife, Anderson reported Martha, was "admitted to Salem church before the end of 1636," citing Salem Church Records. For those so admitted see Thomas Barnard (pastor), compiler, Records of the First Church of Salem, Mass. Wolfe-2549 and Wolfe-2548 appear to represent the same person because: I believe these are duplicates, that Peter is father of Both Freeboen and Hannah
