Biography
John Henry Wolfe was born 06 OCT 1869, Alleghany County, Virginia, the son of Hugh Caldwell Wolfe and Eliza Jane Tucker. John had ten siblings: Hugh Caldwell Wolfe, Victoria A. Wolfe, Maria Jane Wolfe, Fannie Bell Wolfe, Jacob Ausborn "Jake" Wolfe, Stephen Caldwell Wolfe, William "Fenton" Wolfe, Rosa Missouri Wolfe, Anna B. "Annie" Wolfe and Charles Edward Wolfe. John also had five half-siblings: Levi Wolfe, Joshua Wolfe, Martha Wolfe, Mary M. Wolfe and George A. Wolfe. Tragically Joshua, Martha and Mary all passed away of scarlet fever at very young ages, 20 APR 1853.
John's paternal grandparents were Abraham Wolfe and Margaret Caldwell. His maternal grandparents were John Tucker and Margaret "Peggy" Paxton.
John passed away as a toddler at the age of 1 year and 9 months. Credit to LuvMtns
