Biography

Thomas Lesster Womack was born November 1883 to William W. Womack and Jane Philbeck in Polk County, North Carolina. He married Bertha Ruppe and they had at least three children. [1] He died in 1979 and is buried in Lebanon Methodist Church Cemetery, Mill Spring, Polk County, North Carolina.

Residence 1900: Cooper Gap, Polk County, North Carolina as son and farm laborer Thomas L Wamac, age 17 in household of William Wamac (56) and Martha J (54) with John E (31), Corrie (29), Rhodey M (27), Gamewell B (24), Marthy C (22), Anderson A (19), and Ellen V (14). [2]
