Biography

William was born in 1847. He was the son of Burgess Womack and Elizabeth Womack. He passed away in October 1900 in Warren County, Tennessee and is buried in Wood Cemetery, McMinnville, Warren County.[1]

William married Mary Frances Wood 15 February 1874 in DeKalb County, Tennessee.[2]

In 1880 William and Fannie were living in DeKalb County, Tennessee. With them was their daughter Martha S Womack who was born in February 1880. She apparently did not survive, since she is not listed on the 1900 federal census and no further record of her has been found.

In 1900 William, Fannie and their family were living in Warren County, Tennessee. Information from census states they were married about 1874. Fannie had borne 10 children, of whom six were still living. In the household are:
