Y-chromosome DNA test-takers in his direct paternal line on WikiTree:
Merging Womack-1629 with Womack-1637, 6/14/22. Womack-1629 shows mother as Emily Tames (Miller) Womack (Miller-37977), but the only source cited, https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:K3WR-WNZ, actually lists his mother as Martha, who matches the mother of Womack-1637 (Martha Higgins Womack, Higgins-957), not Womack-1629's Emily. Likewise the only source on Miller-37977, https://www.myheritage.com/site-family-tree-178346832/varnell#!profile-1512542-info, shows Abner's mother as Martha Higgins, rather than Emily. Furthermore Miller-37977 has Emily married to Wommack-8 rather than Abner's father, Wommack-249. The only way around this is to say that Womack-249 had two sons with the same name and and exact same birth date, of two different women, one of his wife, and the other of the wife of his first cousin, and that both of these sons died on the exact same day, one on the Texas Coast and the other in North-Central Texas. (Data locating Abner in the latter location toward the end of his life, along with his burial there as shown in Find A Grave, make the second appear most likely.)
