David was born about 1784, possibly in Virginia. His parents are at this time unknown.
He married Esther Tanner on 4 October 1809 in Rutherford County, North Carolina. Bondsman for the marriage was Philip Wood, witness James Morris.[1][2]
David is listed on the 1810 census in Rutherford County with his wife Esther.[3]
In 1820 David Wamak is found in Morganfield, Union County, Kentucky. He and wife are the right age to be this David and Esther, but this is unconfirmed. More research needed.[4]
