Richmond(aka Richard) was in the 46th Mississippi Infantry along with William McLehaney and his brothers James H. and Rowland. Richmond was killed at the Battle of Vicksburg on 9 June 1863. He is buried in the Soldiers Rest Portion of the Vicksburg City Cemetery-none of these graves are individually marked.
