Samuel Wood, born 03 April 1716 in Mansfield, Connecticut, died there 22 January 1807, and his wife Jerusha Abbe, born 22 October 1722, married 31 March 1742, are honored by the Daughters of the American Revolution for patriotism in Connecticut during the American Revolution: 1) TOOK OATH OF FIDELITY, 1780.
