Biography

This profile is part of the Wood Name Study.

Elizabeth Wood, daughter of Edward Wood and Ruth Lee was baptized 22 October 1620, at Nuneaton, Warwickshire, England.[1][2]

She migrated with her family by 1639. They settled in Charlestown, Massachusetts.[2]

Elizabeth Wood married before May 1642 Solomon Phipps, a carpenter, b about 1613. Solomon died in Charlestown 25 July 1671.[2]

Elizabeth died at Charlestown "an aged widow" 1 November 1688.[2]
