Alex Andrew Wood was born on November 15, 1869 in Melancthon, Grey, Ontario, Canada, son of Jacob Yarrow Wood and Henrietta Sidora.

Alex (29) married Alberta Pelling on April 5, 1899 in Kearney, On.[1]


Alex died on August 9, 1942 in Toronto, Ontario aged 72.[citation needed]
