Research Notes

Previous entry lacks source: Commissioned a justice of the peace in 1724 and 1726, served in the assembly 1704, 1710, 1712, 1717.

He is likely a close relative, if not brother, of Eleanor Wood, who married Jane's brother, Evan Bevan.

Hello re: his birth place -- Pennsylvania didn't exist in 1662; at the time it was a Swedish colony owned by New Netherland. It seems more likely he immigrated from England, as this geni.com profile has it.

Wood-14708 and Wood-11880 appear to represent the same person because: They are both married to Jave Bevan on the same date. John Wood-14708 has offspring as well.
