Biography

Franklin Wood, born 1836 was the first child of Danby Tamberlin Wood and Mary Ann Ellen King. Danby and Mary Ann were married in 1834. At the 1850 census this family was living at Reed's Creek Township, Lawrence County, Arkansas. Siblings were James S., Sarah, Elendor, Permelia, and Robert Wood. James S. Wood(s), born 1840; married Eliza Gocio in Smithville, Arkansas is our family connection.
