Friends will be received after 7pm today at the Mercedes T.Maloy Funeral Home, Duquesne, for Cecil Roland Wood, 19,of 409 S. 4th Street Duquesne, who died today in McKeesport Hospital of injuries suffered last night in an auto accident. Cecil, a Duquesne resident 15 years, was born Nov.4, 1946 in LaGrange,Ky son of Walter and Fleurette Bessette Wood. He formerly was employed by Long Hauling Co Inc, Duquesne.He was a 1964 graduate of Duquesne High School,was active in Boy Scouting and was a member of St.Joseph Church and the Civil Air Patrol of West Miflin. In addition to his parents,he leaves a sister,Barbara Jean and a brother,Paul Allen, at home, and grandparents,Jean L.and Cecile Bessette in Rhode Island and Mrs.Susie Wood in Kentucky. Requiem high mass will be offered at 9am.Friday in St.Joseph Catholic Church Duquesne, the Rev.Francis Stifler officiating. Burial will take place in St.Joseph Cemetery. From McKeesport Daily News
