Biography

David Wood was the son of Solomon Wood and Mary Hazeltine. Bradford, Massachusetts. Town Records show that he was born July 31, 1691 in Bradford, then part of the town of Rowley in Essex County, Massachusetts.

David Wood and Elizabeth Farrington of Andover announced their intentions to marry on July 10, 1714, then married on November 18, 1714. The couple lived in Bradford where their 7 children were all born.

David died "in his 65th year", meaning he was 64 on February 25, 1756. His headstone reads "Here Lies Buried the body of Mr David Wood who departed This life Febry 25th 1756 in the 65th year of his age." He is buried in the Ancient Burial Ground, Bradford, Massachusetts. [1]
