SUDDEN DEATH. - Mr. Benjamin Wood, an old and esteemed citizen of this county, died very suddenly at his home near Ivy depot last Monday morning. At an early hour he went on his farm and gave directions for the day's work. Returning he sat down at the breakfast table, and was in the act of receiving from his grand-daughter a cup of coffee when his head sank upon his breast and the heart ceased it beating. Mr. Wood was quite aged, perhaps beyond seventy years. And strange, all his brothers died very much in this way. - Charlottesville intelligencer.[5]
