Josiah Wood of Middleborough, blacksmith died intestate and on 13 December 1768 his widow, Mary was granted the administration of his estate.[1]
His inventory was taken on 2 March 1769 and was valued at about 30 pounds in personal estate. His widow Mary represented the estate as insolvent. An account of his estate by his widow Mary was recorded which included necessaries to the widow and administration fees. No estate was remaining, so no further proceedings were needed.[2]
