Biography

Elizabeth was born in 1 December 1840. She was the daughter of Thomas Wood and Jane Purcell. She married Joseph Arthur Cook on April 2, 1859 in East Kempsey, New South Wales.^[1]

Together they became the parents of two sons and five daughters.

She passed away in 1926. Elizabeth died on Oct. 22, 1926 and was buried at Fernmount Cemetery in Fernmount, Bellingen Shire, New South Wales.

URUNGA - The death has occurred at Raleigh of Mrs. Elizabeth Cook, aged 86 years. She was for years a resident of the Bellinger River, and is survived by two sons and five daughters. The funeral took place at Fernmount Cemetery, the Rev. Father Fitzpatrick officiating at the graveside.
