A large crowd gathered at the Glenfield Presbyterian Church to farewell a popular, devoted Christian and family man. For many years he had been a stalward member of Henderson WCTU Union and later Auckland Union with his wife Hazel who passed away last year. He held the position of Treasurer for the NZWCTU from 1995 until he suffered a stroke at the end of 1997. He and Hazel will always be remembered for their kindness, hospitality and willingness to speak and witness of the faithfulness of the Lord Jesus Christ.
