He was the son of Edward Frederick Lindley Wood, 1st Earl of Halifax and Lady Dorothy Evelyn Augusta Onslow.[1]He was born on the 3rd of October 1912[1]at St. George Hanover Square, London, England.[2]He married Ruth Alice Hannah Mary Primrose, daughter of the Lady Victoria Alice Louise Stanley and the Rt. Hon. Neil James Archibald Primrose on the 25th of April 1936[1]at London City, London, England.[3]He died on the 19th of March 1980 at the age of 67[1]at York, Yorkshire, England.[4][5]
