Note H00327Sally's aunt, Lydia Finney, was her husband Daniel's stepmother. All of her children were born in Westmoreland but they eventually moved to NY. They spent their later years at St. Lawrence near Cape Vincent, where Sally died in 1862. Her death, according to family tradition, was the result of shock and emotional excitement caused by her first train ride. Daniel died 10 years later in Gananoque at the home of their son.
