Wood-44482 and Wood-16409 appear to represent the same person because: Please merge, when I entered Pearcy from Find a Grave, it didn't show the match as Piercy.
On several occasions , I have seen references to Piercy (Wood) Strickland being of American Indian blood and sometimes Cherokee Indian. At this point, I have no substantial source for this belief.
