Biography

Josiah Wood was born on February 27, 1729, in Dartmouth, Bristol, Massachusetts Bay Colony. His parents were William Wood and Hannah Howland.[1]

Josiah Wood, born 27 Feb 1729; married, Hannah Tucker on September 11, 1753, n.s.[2].

Josiah and Hannah had the following children:

  1. Abraham Wood-27476, born the 29th day of July, 1754
  2. Chilion Wood-33841, born the 22nd day of August, 1756
  3. Elizabeth Wood, born the 22nd day of November, 1759[3]

Josiah's Will was written 22 Jan 1801, probated 3 August 1802 Bristol County, Massachusetts. Will names wife Hannah and children Abraham, Chilon, David, Jesiah, William, Cynthia, Sarah, Edith Estes, and Jonathan.
