Biography

Henrietta was born in 1877. She was the daughter of Samuel Wood and Clarinda Deacon.^[1] She was not yet eighteen when her father died in 1895.^[2]
She was executrix of her aunt Sarah's estate in 1910.^[3]
By 1911, she was living in Southport, Lancashire with her mother and her aunt Ellen Deacon.^[4]
Her mother died in 1922, leaving Henrietta as executrix of her estate.^[5]
In 1925, Henrietta married a widower, Benjamin Minikin in Barrow in Furness, north of Liverpool.^[6] Witnesses are listed as D.M. Johnston and J.A. Johnston.^[7] This was David Mossop Johnston and Jane Ann Johnston, nephew and niece of the groom, children of his sister Margaret.^[8]
Benjamin died in 1935^[9] and Henrietta in 1942,^[10] both in Birkenhead.
