Biography

Owned RB's Wood Hardware Store and Hotel? in Winfred; purchased by Anna M. Williams (daughter of Floyd Demaray-- thus cousins via Dewain Wood's 2nd wife) and Andrew Hefte post WW2 became Hefte's Hardware. 1910 Census lists occupation as real estate; 1920 as 'dealer' of implements; Canadian (Scotch) heritage.

1899 RB Wood voted as county constable. Madison Daily Leader, 17 Jan 1889, p.4

There is a Roger Wood age 39 in the 1880 MN census; also b. in Canada c. 1840s; one son named Benjamin. Certainly could be a relation.
