John Wood was born on 3 June 1900 in Berwick-upon-Tweed, Northumberland, England[1].
John married Grace Ann Marshall Meston (born in Berwick, Northumberland in March 1900), daughter of William Meston and Grace Ann Marshall, in April 1919 in Berwick-upon-Tweed[2].
