He is reportedly buried at the Lashley Wood Cemetery in Logan County, Kentucky. Upon a visit to that cemetery on April 30, 2016, no headstone bearing his name was found. At this cemetery are buried as denoted by a legible headstone: Hugh E. Wood (1888-1915), Mary E. Wood (1855-1919), and John E. Wood (1848-1930). There were several older illegible headstones present.
Lashley was born in 1726. Lashley Wood passed away in 1809. [1]
