Biography

• In McGee family photo ca 1909, she is seated in front row; her husband John Wiley McGee is also seated in the front row.
• When my Great-grandmother Sallie, Louisa's eldest daughter, died in early 1910, she and John Wiley took in Mamie, Laura, and Ida. Ewin left. Sometime after the 1910 census, they moved to Arkansas, and stayed there until John Wiley died (1926). Louisa with Laura and Ida are back in Pontotoc, Oklahoma, for the 1930 census.
• My Grandmother, Laura, told me they rode in the back of a truck for the trip, but I can't remember which way, to or from, but she said it was a cold trip.
