Christopher Woodcock was born in 1791 or 1792 (baptized 1798) to Abraham Woodcock and Catharine Peterson in Fredericksburgh, Lennox County. He was a farmer. He married Hannah ___ (reportedly Hannah Partridge; primary source not seen). They had at least three sons and a daughter. In 1851 they were with two of their children and next door to a third ln Escott Township, Leeds County. In 1861 they were with their sons George and (Charles) Wesley in Reach Township, Ontario County. A widower, he was with son Wesley in Reach in 1871. He died in Durham Regional Municipality (~Ontario County) in 1875 and was buried in Hubbell's Cemetery at Myrtle.
