Biography

Leonard was born in 1798. He was the son of Jonathan Woodcock and Sarah Turner.

Christening Date: 29 April 1798
Christening Place: Scilly Islands, Cornwall, England[1]

Leonard married Grace Williams on 6 March 1826 at St. Buryan, Cornwall, England.[2]

He was a Coast Guard.

UK Census Date 1841: Living with his wife and seven children in Clovelly Village, Clovelly, Devon, England. Aged about 40. Also in the household was James Williams (probably his father in law).

UK Census Date 1861: Living in Rickards Down, Abbotsham, Devonshire, England. Aged 62. Also in the household was his 24 year old daughter Selina and one year old grandson Edward.

Occupation: Superannuated Coast Guard

Leonard passed away in 1885 at the age of about 86.[3]
