She and her husband Johnathan Abercrombie owned the property where the Abercrombie- Johnson Cemetery is in Gray Court, Laurens, South Carolina. The graveyard is shared with the Johnson family. Jonathan and Mary are the only members of their famil buried thee with the majority of their eleven children buried in Dials Cemetery in Laurens.
