Survived by stepmother, Minnie Woods; wife, former Rita Smith; and these children: Pauline Gauntner, Linden, N.J.; Carol, wife of Michael Jarvis, Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; Mary, wife of Gary Leone, Hastings; Patricia, wife of James Kowatch, Blairsville; Paul J., married to former Margaret Thomas, Hastings; and James T. and Richard A., both of Pittsburgh; also eight grandchildren. Brother of Lois Beaver, Mildred Dillon and Thomas, all of Newton Falls, Ohio; Geraldine Stoltz, California; and Anna Mae Shutty, Cleveland, Ohio. Death ends marriage union of 43 years.
