- John BRENCHLEY (son of Joyce & John BRENCHLEY) was born abt.1655 in Bredgar, England, and died 10 Jan 1740 in Charing, Kent,England. He married on 07 Oct 1679 in St.Mary Bredin, Canterbury, Kent, England to Susan WISE, (daughter of Thomas WISE and Elizabeth WOODS).
- Notes for Susan WISE:
- The Letters of Administration (dated 29 April 1680) of Susan's father, Thomas WISE, shows her as the wife of John BRENCHLEY, and receiving 26 shillings and three pence as her share in her father's estate. The Admon also gives her mother's name as Elizabeth WISE, alias WOODS (ie. her previous and probably maiden name). CKS ref Prc 20/13/75.
