Does anyone object to the removal of Benjamin as spouse to Margaret?

I'm good with the removal of Benjamin. Not sure why this service makes you type over thirty characters in order to reply.

Woods-11852 and Woods-5419 appear to represent the same person because: Woods-5419 has accurate spouse and children, as far as I can tell. Certainly for spouse. Marriage record clearly indicates she married William and not Benjamin. William Armstrong (spouse to Woods-5419) lists wife as Margaret in his will. The children for Woods-11852 are likely Benjamin Armstrong's (Armstrong-1981) children.

This link is the only Margaret Woods I can find in the "record collection 8909" which indicates name of spouse is William and not Benjamin. Date of marriage, 1868, is well after most of the children for Benjamin's profile were born. I am thinking that Margaret Mary Woods is spouse to William Armstrong who is listed as a son to Benjamin Armstrong's profile. Land and probate records indicate first name of that William's spouse to be "Mary"

Interesting. I looked through my Ancestry tree and don't even have a Benjamin listed and Margaret married to William on 23 Aug 1768 in Rowan.

I think what happened is Margaret was listed as mother to William and Catherine somehow. I added her as mother to Alexander since he was their brother. It looks pretty clear to me that she should be removed as mother to William, Alexander, and Catherine and added as spouse to William? Let me know if you are in agreement.

William Lewis Armstrong/Mary Woods https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/details/M4CZ-F12

Found this following a lead on my Hamilton line. Another option for Spouse to Margaret.

Wood-29977 and Woods-11852 appear to represent the same person because: Same birth date and location. Spouse of Catherine, Thomas Brasher, signed on will of Samuel Armstrong, with wife Catherine, and later on a deed transferring ownership to Aquilla Brazier. Name "Woods" appears in descendants along Hamilton line and is common in Livingston county at the time as opposed to "Wood".

Do not know how the marriage date was wrong unless changed by some one else. I changed it to the correct date as 23 Aug 1768. This is the same date as I have in my Ancestry.com profile.

Margaret was married before she was born...

Wood-15837 and Woods-5419 appear to represent the same person because: Duplicate wife of William A Armstrong
Woods-6051 and Woods-5419 appear to represent the same person because: Same spouse. Please consider merging.
