Biography

Rachel Woods was born in Groton, Middlesex County, Massachusetts about 1698. She was the daughter of Samuel Woods II and Hannah Farwell Woods.^{[1][2] [3]}

She was married December 12, 1722 in Lancaster, Worcester County, Massachusetts to Jonathan Whitcomb, son of David Whitcomb and Mary Hayward Whitcomb.^{[4] [1][2][3]}

Rachel died in Bolton, Worcester County, Massachusetts in June, 1768. She is buried in the Old South Burying Ground, Bolton^{[2] [5]}
