This is the profile for Hannah Wood who married Ephraim Wright in 1724 in Windham, Connecticut.
Parentage
Hannah's parentage has not been determined. The only other Wood who appears in Windham vital records who could have been a sibling or parent of hers is Philemon Wood who married Bethiah Howard in Windham in 1719.[1] Unfortunately, Philemon's parentage also has not been determined.
A number of candidates have been proposed for Hannah's parents:
Some online genealogies (including, as of July 2022, Find-A-Grave[2]) assert that Hannah was the daughter of Nathaniel Woods of Groton, Massachusetts. However, while Nathaniel Woods did have a daughter named Hannah, she married John Farmer in Groton, Massachusetts in 1725 and had children in Billerica, Massachusetts in 1726 and 1727,[3] and so was clearly not the same person as this profile's Hannah Wood.
There was a Hannah Wood born to Richard Wood and Sarah (Clark) Wood in Wallingford, New Haven, Connecticut in 1703.[4] However, Richard died in 1705, with a will in which he clearly had only one child, Miriam, suggesting that his daughter, Hannah, died in infancy.
There was a Hannah Wood b. 20 Jan 1707/08 in Framingham, Middlesex, Massachusetts, daughter of Thompson Wood and Martha (Foster) Wood of Ipswich. Hannah was the youngest of six who were born in Ipswich (the eldest), Concord (the next two), and Framingham (the last three). The father died in either Pomfret or Canterbury, both in Windham County, Connecticut. The possibility that that Hannah Wood was the same person as this profile's Hannah Wood is supported by the fact that this profile's Hannah Wood had a daughter named Martha. One fact against that Hannah Wood being the same person as this profile's Hannah Wood is that it would mean that this profile's Hannah Wood got married at the unusually young age of 16.
Date and Place of Birth
Hannah's date and place of birth are uncertain. Based on her date of marriage (1724), Hannah was probably born sometime in 1699-1706, with about 1703 being a reasonable best-guess estimate. Based on the origins of persons who lived in northeast Connecticut in the early 1700s, Hannah was most likely born in either Connecticut or Massachusetts.
John, b. March 18, 1726 in Windham,[7][6] bpt. April 3, 1726 in Lebanon[8]
Hannah, bpt. October 18, 1727 in Windham,[9] presumably died young
Hannah, b. February 4, 1731 in Windham,[10][6] bpt. February 14, 1731 in Lebanon[8]
Martha, b. January 14, 1733 in Windham,[11][6] bpt. possibly May 26, 1734 in Franklin[12]
Ephraim (twin), b. March 16, 1735 in Windham,[13][14][6] bpt. March 23, 1735 in Windham[9]
Anna (twin), b. March 16, 1735 in Windham,[15][6] bpt. March 23, 1735 in Windham,[9] m. March 11, 1756 John Huntington of Windham,[6] d. May 6, 1758[6]
Beriah, b. February 22, 1737 in Windham,[16] bpt. March 27, 1737 in Windham,[9] d. 1759 at Albany returning with his father from a military campaign in the French and Indian War[6]
It is possible, if not likely, that Hannah and Ephraim were also the parents of one or both of the following children who were baptized at the Lebanon First Congregational Church (where their children John and Hannah were baptized) in 1729: Ephraim Wright, bpt. January 26, 1729,[8] and Patience Wright, bpt. August 3, 1729.[17] As discussed in the profile for Patience Wright, Hannah and Ephraim are the most probable candidates for her parents.
The FindAGrave Memorial[2] seems to have conflated three Hannah Woods. Birth date and place for the daughter of Richard of Wallingford, linked to Nathaniel as father, and has Ephraim Wright and this Hannah's date of death.

I just added a few thoughts re: parentage, and I think I might have hit on the right set. Thompson and Martha. I didn't add, just wrote. Dad died in Windham County, and one of Hannah's children is Martha! Could be. I also asked FindAGrave to detach Hannah from Nathaniel, but there's more to do about Hannah's Memorial. Conflates three Hannahs. Thanks.
I think this Hannah Woods is connected to the wrong parents. There is already a Hannah who is born in Groton. All the other siblings were born in Massachusetts (most in Groton) and a person born in Connecticut does not seem to fit. She was also married in Connecticut.
I think this Hannah Woods is conflated with the daughter of Nathaniel and Alice. I don't think she belongs to that family group at all. Under Nathaniel there is a list of daughters and only one Hannah.
They are maybe not duplicates because of different spouses and location. I suggest that this Hannah be detached from Nathaniel and Alice.
Wood-21151 and Woods-811 appear to represent the same person because: Wright Genealogy indicates her name was Wood. Didn't come up when I was entering my data.

Hannah is not part of my tree, but working with a client. Easy to make an error when not familiar with the family.
Thank you for the correction.
