Marriage: Alfred John was to marry Viola Margaret Lorkin on June 2nd 1937^[2] in the Church of England, at Alexandra, Victoria, Australia.

Death: Alfred John Woodward passed away March 5th 1967 ^[3] [John took ill whilst on holiday at Bemm River about 50 kilometres east of Orbost, east Gippsland. He passed away from 'Heart-Failure' whilst being transported to the Orbost hospital] .
