Frank is to experience ‘three-serious-partnerships’ in his life, along with, sometimes assuming the name ‘Francis’, he provides some confusions when researching his later years.
1891: Frank [Snr] goes on to marry Nora-Evangeline, RISELY. [3] They have two children: Edith-Amelia-1891, Frank-Samuel-1892, Both wife Nora-Evangeline & Frank-Samuel, die in 1892. [4] and [5]
1894: Frank [Snr] then marries Bridget, OSHAUGHNESSY, [6] They have at least seven children: Ivy-May-1895-[married-Donovan], Daisy-Frances-1896-[married-Bell], Norman, 1897 [married-May Catchpole]. Eileen, Margaret, 1899 [married-Doherty], Lily-[married-Boston], Ellen-Grace-1905, Frances-Leonard-1910.
Frank [Snr] does not followed his father into farming, his ‘place of residence’ with wife Nora, [1890-92] is Waratah [A significant mining region in Tasmania]. ‘The place names’ registered in the births of his children with Bridget OSHAUGHNESSY, are Stowport & Burnie [1894-1910]. His ‘place name’ of residence in 1931 is Melbourne Victoria, to where he, Bridget, and some of the family had relocated.
A newspaper report informs us that, Frank's wife 'Bridget' passed-away in 1933, aged 55, at an address in Richmond, Melbourne. [7] and [Vic. BDM's, Reg.#: 3747/1933][8]
Death: Frank [Snr] is reported to have passed-away at the Alfred Hospital, in Prahran, on April 17th 1941,[Vic. BDM's, Reg.#: 3301/1941][9], his funeral was to proceed from his last address: 54 Ross Street Port Melbourne, and his remains interred in a plot at the Footscray Cemetery, on Friday 18 April 1941. [10]
