Biography

Elizabeth Woodward was born on 15 May 1790.[1] She was the daughter of Hezekiah Woodward and Eleanor Vail.

She married Benjamin Dodge.[1] They made their home in in Mount Hope, Orange County, New York.[2] They had the following children[1][3]:

  1. Eleanor J Dodge, b. 19 Dec 1808, d. 19 Nov 1870, m. John Conkling
  2. Algernon Sidney Dodge, b. Oct 1810, d. 11 Aug 1880, m. Sarah Ann Loomis
  3. William H Dodge, b. 9 Feb 1813, d. 3 Feb 1888
  4. Clara Ann Dodge, b. 25 Nov 1814, d. 20 Apr 1893, m. Augustus Porter Thompson

Elizabeth died on 26 October 1862.[1] She is buried at Mount Hope Plains Cemetery, Otisville, Orange County, New York.[1]

Dodge of Mount Hope. Mrs. A. P. Thompson of Port Jervais is a sister of the deceased, as also was the wife of Dr. John Conkling. Mr. Dodge married a daughter of Dr. Loomis, deceased, of Otisville, who survives him.
