"The Death of A. S. Dodge of Otisville--A well Known Business Man", The Evening Gazette, Port Jervis, New York, 14 Aug 1880 Page 1. A. S. Dodge died at Otisville on the night of August 11th… He was born in Mount Hope, this county in October 1810 and was the son of Benjamin Dodge. One brother survives him, William H. Dodge of Mount Hope. Mrs. A. P. Thompson of Port Jervais is a sister of the deceased, as also was the wife of Dr. John Conkling. Mr. Dodge married a daughter of Dr. Loomis, deceased, of Otisville, who survives him.
