Biography

Wardell Woolley was born September 26, 1817, son of Robert Hartshorne Woolley and Julia (Wardell) Woolley in Red Bank, N.J. Julia died shortly after his birth on November 17, 1817. In 1821, his father remarried Sophia Forman. Wardell married Mary Vermeule Tunison who was born August 29, 1818 and died July 13, 1906. Their Children:

Wardell died June 8, 1899 in New York City. He is buried with his wife Mary in the Green-Wood Cemetery, Brooklyn, Kings County, New York.
