Hannah was born in 1832. She was the daughter of Thomas Woolnough (abt.1804-1875) and Susan (Howe) Woolnough (abt.1806-1867)
In 1851 Hannah (18) was living with her parents Thomas (47) and a Shoemaker by trade, Norfolk born, her mother Susan (44) born in Suffolk, and her brothers William (22) and John (20) both Shoe makers. [2]
Hannah arrived in Australia into Tasmania on March 31, 1855 at the age of 22. Travelling with her from Suffolk were: Eliza (17) Thomas (12) Stephen (10) James (7), and Elizabeth (4)
Hannah married Edward Ayton on November 26, 1856 at Morven in Tasmania. She was 24 years old and a spinster - her husand Edward was aged 42 and listed as an "Inn Keeper". Her surname is spelled WOOLNOUGH on the marriage record, but on the birth record of their son born in 1857, her surname is spelled 'WOOLNER'.

Edward passed away on December 12, 1875 of natural causes at the age of 63. https://stors.tas.gov.au/NI/1207766
In his will he names Hannah as his beneficiary including maiden name of "Woolnough". https://stors.tas.gov.au/NI/1625731
Hannah married Henry Thomas Moss 1821-1889 in Victoria in 1877. [4]
Henry passed away in 1889 at the age of 68.[5]
Hannah married for a third in 1892 to William Pettigrew. [6]

She married John Wallis in Victoria in 1896. [7]
