Some info online says that William Wallace Wooten is buried at Catheys Creek Baptist Church Cemetery but this is not true. I have been to my great-grandfather and great-grandmother's graves and they are both buried side-by-side in the primitive baptist church not far from Cox Chapel. Not far from their graves is baby Harold's grave, a stillborn child of my grandmother's.

William Wallace Wooten went by Willie Wooten. He is listed as Willie in some of the censuses. His death certificate lists Prather's Creek Township, Pney Creek. Father is listed as Andy Wooten, mother as maiden name Johnson. Says he died from Diabetes mellitus(?). He was a farmer. Death Certificate is signed by a Moxley. He was only 43 years old.
