Biography

The marriage of Rhoda Marjorie, elder daughter of Dr. and Mrs. J. Ross Allen of 129 Hamilton Street to John Sartwell Wordon of Tulsa, Okla., son of Mr. and Mrs. I. E. Worden of 312 Laurens Street, took place last evening at half past 6 o'clock In the First Presbyterian Church, Olean, NY.

John Sartwell Worden married Rhoda Marjorie Allen on Dec. 14, 1922. He served as a director of what is now The Bank of New York in Olean, New York. John was elected a vice-president of Texaco Inc. in 1954, a position he held until retirement in 1959. They had a daughter Anne Worden, and a son John Allen Worden.
