• Fred Worden, 80, of 822 Luck Avenue, a retired coal miner, died at 6:07 a.m. Sunday in Bethesda * Hospital. He had been in failing health two years.

• He was born Aug. 14, 1895 in St. Treleus, Ill.

• Surviving are four sons, Forrest of Mansfield, Ralph of Madison Street, Ellsworth of Warwick
• Avenue and Frank of Abington, Va.; three daughters, Mrs. Sumner (Isabel) Van Dyne with whom
• he made his home, Mrs. Dorothy Mill of Canton and Mrs. Frank (Pearl) Calendine of 1050 1/2
• Brighton Boulevard; 34 grandchildren, and 28 great-grandchildren.

• Friends may call at DeLong and Baker Funeral Home 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. * Tuesday.

• Service for Fred Worden, 80, of 822 Luck Avenue, who died Sunday, will be held at 2 p.m.
• Wednesday at DeLong and Baker Funeral Home with burial in Williams Cemetery.

• Mr. Worden was a veteran of World War 1 and was a life member of the DAV here.

• Among his survivors are; two sons, Ralph of Putnam Avenue and Ellsworth of Neil Avenue; and a * daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Mayle of Canton.
