Biography

Source 1: Google Books shows Spencer Worden & Sophronia Dean, as the parents of Leonard J. Worden b: Clayville, NY, Jun. 28, 1826. Leonard J. Worden married Lovina Kellogg at Brookfield, NY on Sep. 17, 1849. Spencer's birth year is an estimate, based on his father Warren Sr. b: 1770, and his son Leonard b: 1826.

Source 2: Note: Spencer Worden is referenced in the list of children of Warren Worden & Huldah Greene. Warren Worden is shown in the 1800 census @ Hopkinton, Rhode Island, so we are showing Spencer's birth place as Rhode Island. Spencer Worden is not listed in the 1850 census at Paris, New York with Sophronia as he likely died before 1850, so we are showing his death place as Paris, New York.
