Funeral services were conducted Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock in the Megrue Funeral Home at Superior for Glenn S. Worden, 74, who died at his home in Superior Sunday, victim of a sudden heart attack. The Reverend Mr. R.D. Wigert officiated and interment was in Evergreen cemetery (sic).
Glenn Seaton Worden, son of James Mark and Martha Seaton Worden, was born on a farm near Superior Dec. 13, 1887, and passed away at Superior May 13, 1962, at the age of 74 years and five months.
After the father's death, he lived at the farm home northeast of Superior with his mother and youngest sister until their deaths. Since then he and the other sister, Mrs. Cecyle Elliott, have made their home in Superior, he continuing with farming interests until his death.
He was a member of the Methodist Church and a graduate of the Superior high school with the class of 1909.
Left to mourn his passing are one sister, Mrs. Cecyle Elliott, a niece, Mrs. Lee Penney, and her family, many other relatives and friends.
